Time-sensitive information about your Mastercard eStatements

Save your Mastercard eStatements before October 18

As previously communicated, we will replace your current credit card with a new CEFCU Platinum Mastercard® with contactless payment technology in late October. Your new credit card will make transactions quicker, easier and more secure.

As of October 18, 2021, you will no longer have online access to your Mastercard eStatements. We recommend saving your Mastercard eStatements on your personal computer or print hard copies as soon as possible.

How to save Mastercard eStatements

  1. 1. Log in to eBranch. Click on More details near your credit card account.
  2. 2. From the menu, select Account Info and choose "eStatements."
  3. 3. Scroll down to the list of statements. Click on the date link to view, print or save a statement.

Please note, you will receive a paper statement for your October statement cycle. An electronic statement will not be generated. eStatements for your credit card account will resume in November along with a new look to Mastercard Access.

After your card is reissued, you will no longer have access to previous Mastercard statements. Your new statement history will begin with the November 2021 statement.

In the coming weeks, you will receive more information and instructions for services such as Auto Pay and recurring charges. At this time, continue to use your CEFCU Mastercard.

An introduction to contactless cards

In October 2021, CEFCU will introduce a new Platinum Mastercard with enhanced features, including contactless payment technology, advanced security, and greater mobile interactive controls. While the overall benefits and terms of our card program will remain the same, the enhanced card controls will make transactions quicker, easier and more secure.

Touch-free transactions with contactless cards

As simple as tap and go, contactless payment is a convenient and fast way to pay. Wherever you see the wave-like contactless payment symbol, simply tap or hold your card within a few inches of the contactless-enabled payment terminal to complete your transaction in seconds.Contactless symbol

The encrypted signal does not transmit your card number. Instead the embedded antenna transmits a one-time code with information that does not expose your actual account details. The next time a purchase is made, a new unique code is sent.

In most cases, no PIN or signature is required. The transaction can be completed — touch-free! While the contactless feature is a great way to pay, your card will still be equipped with a magnetic strip and an EMV chip for transactions at terminals not equipped for contactless payments.

More details soon

Cardholders will receive important information about card designs, controls and online Mastercard access. Please pay attention to CEFCU communication as reissued cards will activate changes to eStatements, recurring and scheduled charges, and payment information.
